My passion for storytelling through the medium of animation began after watching the film Spirited Away (2001, dir. Hayao Miyazaki) at the age of 14. The film had a profound impact on me, and since then, it has become my goal to develop a career in writing and directing for animation.
My artistic journey began in my youth; I studied film at the prestigious Thelma Yellin High School of the Arts, where I gained an understanding of film theory and history while exploring various aspects of filmmaking, including producing, scriptwriting, directing, cinematography, lighting, and documentary filmmaking, among others. Additionally, I completed the independent graduation program of the Israeli Ministry of Education, during which I wrote a dissertation under the guidance of film professor Ariel Avisar (The Steve Tisch School of Film and Television, Tel-Aviv University ) on the topic of Film Theory in Animation.
I continued my studies at IAC - Israeli Animation College in the 2D Animation and Digital Media department, gaining the skills to start pursuing a career in the animation industry. Currently, I am pursuing an additional certificate in 3D Animation and intend to specialize in character animation, and I have completed a full internship at the prestigious The Hive Studios in TLV.
In 2025, I participated in the Gobelins Character Animation Summer Course in Paris. I'm so grateful to have learned from some of the best in the industry and to have collaborated with passionate artists from around the world.
